The
farmers, who have formed militant blockades all over Greece, decided
through their coordinating committee and among their fighting
initiatives, to demonstrate in Athens against the Government’s bill on
Social Security! They will not be alone!

To rally, with all its forces, with the poor farmers and flood Athens with demonstrators!

Block The Destruction Of Social Security!
Workers,
youth, unemployed, we have duty and responsibility to unite our forces
with the farmers, the self-employed, with whoever suffers from the
policies that bankrupts us, while creating profits for the business
groups.
United, Coordinated, Militantly, Class Oriented!
Poor
farmers’ struggle is also struggle of the workers! It is common
struggle against the policy that supports the big corporations and needs
workers and farmers working till old age. With starvation-pensions,
limited-less than basic- healthcare services. The same policy that
bankrupts the poor farmers and the self-employed, is also the policy
that imposes starvation wages to the workers, unemployment to the young
people.
The Government’s Bill cannot be fixed! IttakesnoAmendments! Itcannotbemadebetter! It can only be withdrawn!
Whoever
supports the position that there can be positive amendments through
“social dialogues” supports the lies of the Greek Government!
PAME
calls the trade union organizations, the workers, and the youth to
support the common struggle of workers-farmers. Together to disable the
propaganda of the Greek Government, who uses fabricated data, false
hopes and slanders our fight and the forms of struggle that we choose
through our mass procedures!
The
great success of the General Strike of February 4, the massive strike
rallies in every city, the militant blockades of the poor farmers all
over Greece, the streets that flooded with people, revealed the
abilities that exist today to block the new crime of the Government
against Social Security, to move forward with new demands. The Strike
revealed the great weapon of the people: the alliance of workers,
self-employed, poor farmers, women, and youth. The success of the
general strike showed the force of the popular alliance, the great value
to strengthen it with demands and slogans against our exploiters, the
monopolies, the capitalists, the EU and their governments.
PAME Calls For More Militant, More Powerful Struggle, With More Advanced Forms!
To
isolate organizations like the GSEE and ADEDY (members of ETUC in
Greece) whose actions are slandering the importance of joining the
unions and fighting! They are the voices that transfer the propaganda of
the European Union, constant obstacle in the organization of the
struggle; they block the information to the workers!
Enough We Paid! Enough Blood We Shed!
Now The Capital And The State Must Pay!
We Will Not Allow Them To Undermine Our Struggle!
Steadfast,
organized struggle, organization in the unions, in the workers’ and
strike committees, the participation and contribution of all workers in
the realization of our decisions in every branch and workplace is the
powerful, unquestionable force that can block and overthrow their plans.
It can turn the Government’s bill on Social Security, into trash!
We Have The Power To Stop Them!
The
working class and the popular strata can live as we deserve! That is
why we must not step back-not even an inch- from our slogan “BLOCK THE BUTCHER-BILL” that destroys Social Security, withdraw it NOW!
We
have the power to escalate our Struggle! To create a solid, popular
wall of resistance! A united, demanding, front that will not halt! If
the Government dares to bring the bill for voting in the Parliament
against people’s outcry
